Techorama (NL) 2026

23 Oct 2026 1 mins Presentations & Speaking

Next week Techorama in Utrecht is going to happen. The medieval edition in Belgium was fun and I’m looking forward to it again in Netherlands. I was lucky and 2 of my sessions were selected.

First one is Azure Spot instances as your secret weapon.

Almost everyone knows virtual machines in Azure. But with a little effort, it is possible to modify the application and use Spot instances, which can be an interesting financial alternative. In this session we will look at what Spot instances are, how they differ from common VMs and how to use them effectively.

And other one is Weird C# features you (don’t) need to know about.

C# is a mature language with a surface most developers know well – but beneath it lurk features that are obscure, misunderstood, or simply bizarre. This talk digs into the dark corners.

Hope to meet you there.
