Techorama (BE) 2026

11 May 2026 1 mins Presentations & Speaking

Wow, time flies. This week Techorama in Antwerp is going to happen. And I’m looking forward to medieval edition. I was lucky and 2 of my sessions were selected.

First one is Azure Spot instances as your secret weapon.

Almost everyone knows virtual machines in Azure. But with a little effort, it is possible to modify the application and use Spot instances, which can be an interesting financial alternative. In this session we will look at what Spot instances are, how they differ from common VMs and how to use them effectively.

And other one is Lessons learned from translating parameterized collections in EF Core.

EF Core 10 now supports 3 modes of how to translate parameterized collection. Why 3? Well because we learned that the previous 2 are not good. Why? This is what this session is about. And is the 3rd one finally correct? Come to the session to know. Spoiler alert, it all boils down to performance.

Hope to meet you there.
